In the models specified, the geared motor is located at the top right in the rear of the device and drives the brewing unit when coffee is made or rinsed.
A broken flange or defective gearbox can only be fixed by replacing the entire motor. The motor is available with a black and white housing (technically there is no difference), the color that is currently available from the manufacturer is supplied.
