If your Brew Group is nearing the end of its life, then you will hear the Brew Group struggling to obtain the correct position, or notice the coffee grounds are watery when dumped into the Used Coffee Container. Replacing gaskets and lubricating the Brew Group every 6 months will dramatically increase the life of the Brew Group.
Complete brewing unit with coffee grounds scraper and vertical guide, as shown in picture. Brewing unit should be replaced every 5 years or less for best possible coffee extraction from your JURA automatic coffee machine. Replacing the gaskets in the brew unit does not improve the coffee quality in our experience.
Once a month, it is a good idea to lubricate the brewing unit with silicone grease. The device will not wear out so quickly.
