All new grinders are tested by the manufacturer for adjustment, so there are coffee residues in all grinders. The designated position (grinding degree in the middle position) is marked with color on the top of the grinder. We clearly state that these are not used grinders and that neither the ground coffee residues nor the color mark is a material defect. The grinders have been redesigned by DeLonghi, so the housing of some older models may need to be changed to install the grinders.
