In the newer Jura fully automatic coffee machines, the electric motor actuates the drainage valve. If the motor is defective, the brewing unit will no longer move either. If your Jura coffee machine shows "Fault 8", then apart from the brewing unit, the drive or the electronics, it could also be due to a defective drainage motor.
If you switch off the coffee machine, the brewing unit is rinsed. If the Jura then starts to buzz and does not switch off, then this spare part has a defect.
